Trees growing on roof of building

In Panaji, some building are located in prime locations and charge high rentals, yet the maintenance of these buildings remains extremely poor. During the monsoon these six storey buildings which have clay tiles have trees growing on their roof. The trees can be hazardous for the people residing on the top floor as the roots of these trees may penetrate the roofing and enter the rooms on the top floor.
Additionally these trees can be hazardous for pedestrians and cars which are parked below the building as the trees may fall on their head or the vehicles damaging them. It is surprising that the owner of the building or society maintaining the building is ignoring the trees which are growing. One tree may be ignored, however multiple trees are growing on the roof of a building fairly close to panaji market.
Whether these trees are allowed to flourish after the monsoon remains to be seen.
